Digital Imaging Project: Photomontage

Instructions:

In this activity you will learn about the art of digital photomontage, then you will create your own original piece of art. The content of your product can be anything, although you might wish to connect your project to relevant material studied in your own core classes (e.g., Social Studies, English, Biology, etc.). Ultimately your project will be added to your portfolio.

To begin, first read about the history of the art of photomontage here:

Step #2

As you familiarize yourself with the history of the artistic movement, make sure to check out actual examples from these artists. Create a folder entitled “Photomontage Examples” and use the “Grabber” tool to copy and paste a picture from each one of these artists.
