In this assignment you will watch a tutorial regarding the manipulation of depth of field in a photograph, as well as adding a special technique known as the “Orton Effect”. Then you will manipulate two practice photographs that demonstrate your understanding of these techniques.

Ultimately you must create an original poster of an individual that demonstrates shallow depth of field and/or the Orton Effect. You must first decide what purpose your poster will serve. Will it be inspirational? Educational? Humorous? An advertisement? A second requirement is that the poster must feature some kind of textual element that you have cleverly manipulated to fit the context of the poster. You could add a quotation, a title, a chunk of information, etc. Carefully consider the font choice and size of this text, as well as special effects such as shadow.
