1. Student Photo Podcast Presentation

As part of your ongoing learning with photography, you will keep a digital portfolio of the best and most interesting shots taken during the unit.  These pictures should represent a wide array of subjects and exposures, demonstrating your understanding of lighting, aperture, shutter speed and ISO.

Take a series of thirty photographs that demonstrates your specific knowledge learned in your background readings.

These pictures should be displayed online through the Flickr photo site  (www.flickr.com), which you will set up in class.  As well, I would like to see the photographs displayed in a basic Keynote slideshow.  Below each picture list the specific settings and/or techniques you utilized to photograph your subject.

The podcast will be created utilizing the following programs:

  • iPhoto / Aperture
  • Keynote

The podcast will include the following specific categories:

  1. Introductory slide title screen (voice and/or music is optional!)
  2. 30 original photographs with accompanying text, complete with appropriate transitions.  These photos should demonstrate techniques learned about aperture, shutter speed, composition, etc.
